Uploading "Final" game XML to the cloud

Uploading final game XML files to the Stat Crew cloud has several benefits:

*Saves the SID time by sending to the NCAA, opponent and league office all at one time.
*The cloud serves as automatic backup of data.
*The cloud automatically recalculates career stats.
*School/Conference partners can access post-game data easily via API exposure.

For sending to the NCAA, setup in the cloud is easy:

  1. Login to your school Stat Crew cloud, select School Profile tab in top right corner and enter your school NCAA password.

  2. For each sport from the left panel in the cloud, select the Team Profile tab, and enable the option for "send XML file to the NCAA".

  3. Key in your schedule.

There are three ways to get the final game XML file to the cloud:

  1. Score in the SYNC app for basketball, or Next Gen app for soccer/field hockey or basketball, complete the game wrapup, then select Game | Upload Final Stats. This will send the XML file to the NCAA, your opponent, and league office cloud.

  2. Score in legacy (DOS) and use the Legacy Cloud Connector, follow steps 1, 2 and 3 above. When the game is complete in legacy, go to the Cloud Connector tool and click the "Upload Final..." button.

  3. Score in legacy, without cloud connector. Complete the game, create the game XML in Game Reports, then login to school cloud, select Sport | Schedule, click the date of the event, and "Upload Final XML".

To check the status of the upload, click the game date again, to review NCAA Send Status.

**Reminder, only the home team sends final stats to the NCAA. If you are uploading final stats to the cloud as the away/road team, this file will not automatically go to the NCAA.
