Hi StatCrew!

I did a quick search on the forums but wasn't able to find an answer to this. When I try to import an opponents roster into StatCrew for Women's Tennis, I get an error message titled "TAS For Tennis: There are no players listed in the file." I've tried using a different roster from two other school only to have the same error message. The roster file is a standard .trx. Any ideas/suggestions?

Thank you!

For Tas Tennis, the roster file extension is .xtr
This file is actually formatted as XML, and can be exported from the software using the Utilities tab from the Stat Crew Control Panel.

.trx is a baseball/softball roster (extended name). Let me know if questions about roster formatting or accessing files.

    Thank you.

    Hi Monica,

That was a typo on my end, the tennis roster files I have are .xtr (I also handle baseball and mixed the extensions up!)

I understsand exporting rosters, but this issue I’m having is with importing an opponent’s roster. I am going to Utilities > Import Roster and when I select the file (PSU.xtr), I receive an error message that reads “There are no players listed in this file.” and the roster does not import. It is doing this with all .xtr roster files I try to import.

    Thank you!

If you want to send me a file that is not importing, I can confirm for you if the file is valid. The fact that all xtr files are not importing, tells me this is more likely related to some virus scan that is marking this file extension as possibly malicious, etc.

Send me a file and I'll see what it does here.
